That said, Tillman has allowed 8 hits in < 4 IP. That's same ole to me. Let's see if he can get out of this.

He is going to have to learn how to pitch all over again basically. Learning on the job.

Maybe in the stat line, but Tillman is nibbling, not making good pitches, averaging 20 pitches an inning and has gotten lucky with at least 4-5 loud outs. Oh and his velocity is down as the game goes on.

I didn't say that he was pitching well.

Getting through 3 innings with 0 runs and 4 innings with 1 run is considerably different than his usual recent results.

That's not true. Davidson has been slugging at or above .500 most of the year as well as OPS'ing above .800 despite a terrible OBP. Guy can mash.
