But Smoak wasn't considered a tough sign or a guy that was going to take some huge contract.

Melville is a guy that he could have busted slot for, so I am not sure your argument there.

The way Melville's free falling, there's a good chance he'll be there when we pick in the 3rd Round.

Don't forget we got Arrieta in the 5th Round last year.

I would have taken Smoak over Matusz, but the Matusz pick is understandable. Avery is a mind-boggling pick, however.

It appears every service had Avery in their top 65 - some higher.

Stop with the hyperbole and sky is falling mentality already.

If you want to be negative, at least try to be factual/realistic. This guy is a legit round two talent according to every service posted here.
