Same thing that happened to Colin Moran in Baltimore the night before!

And I've been a baseball fan for 40 years and had never seen it happen once, and it happened twice in 24 hours.

Hays walked off under his own power, so obviously not as serious as Moran.

In Gausman's previous outing against the Rangers, 89% of the outs that he recorded (16 out of 18) came via the Strikeout and the Groundout.

Against the Devil Rays tonight, 83% of the outs that Gausman recorded (15 out of 18) came via the Strikeout and the Groundout.

 

Big-time on the Strikeouts and the Groundouts for Gausman, as of late.
