I think it was a major mistake to have him on the roster.  Just another bone head move by the team.

Why we were built to fail anyway. Why not play the lotto on the guy?

Rasmus is done. He was done last year. Rickard had a 600 OPS in AAA until going 5-5 last night. Who were the options?

Stewart.

Not that I overly care about Santander putting in his 44 days.

Rasmus shouldn't have made the team.

20 more days left of Santander. I like his potential, but it’s looking like he’s way overmatched up here.

Hopefully he will light it up at Bowie starting in a few weeks and adjust his game.

Disagree that he looks over matched. He looks like a rookie. But he's having decent at bats. He's taking good swings. And unlike 70 percent of the line up he actually looks like he has a quick bat and has at least some semblance of an idea of what he's doing at the plate.

His defense is also far better than advertised.

Unlike other O's "prospects" in the recent past, such as Joey Rickard, this guy actually has a major league body. He's got a strong lower base, thick center, and he's quick twitched.

Keep throwing him out there. He looks like he'll come around.

In his last 11 games (9 starts), he’s hitting .100/.100/.133, with 11 strikeouts in 30 PA.    I’d say he looks a bit overmatched.

He has looked as bad as many others. He lined a shot to the pitcher yesterday and hit a long fly ball later in the game. Also had a good 10 pitch at Bat on Sunday vs Kluber. Not saying he has looked good but some others on the Orioles look as bad.

.215 OBP in 89 major league at-bats and shaky defense. Obligatory he was rushed and he's young, but there's a reason we're about the only team that goes so balls deep in this Rule 5 nonsense. Other teams just spend a few bucks on international talent or y'know trade for players.
