Sounds like you are in the holiday spirit.........

Jingle f'ing bells.

I'm pretty good with the holidays, actually.  Two things about the holiday season piss me off:

1.  The Orioles and their usually sluggish start to the offseason.  Doesn't even really have anything to do with Christmas or the season but it just coincides with it.

2.  Hearing Paul McCartney's "Having A Wonderful Christmas Time," a song so terrible, it makes me wonder just who was the real talent between Lennon/McCartney.  A song so terrible that I'm starting to shake just thinking about it.  Each year I try to avoid hearing that song, and then I'm inevitably in a situation where it's playing and I can't escape.  Two years ago, I was getting a haircut when it came on, I thought about grabbing the scissors and plunging them into my neck.

Other than that, I'm good.

I would really love to see Gausman have a breakout year.  I think this is the make or break year for him.  If he doesn't ascend to greatness, or at least being a really solid, capable starter, he'll remain who he always is which is frustrating to watch with a few glimpses of greatness.

Until he goes to the NL and wins a Cy Young.

You just gave me a great idea for a Hangout Club thread.   It’ll be up in five minutes.

Halladay spent 12 seasons wearing 32 and retired with 32 on his back. He only wore 34 in Philly because 32 was retired. It's a nice gesture, but I think he picked the wrong number.

And that sums up Gausman's career to date in a nutshell.
