It's now up.

Highlights for me were Baumann up at #6.  I guess Jacksonville University & 3rd round is our lucky charm.

I mentioned it in the Akin thread, but the comments have a nice deep dive on him.

He says that they failed to develop Sedlock and Dietz.  Isn't that a little premature?

Yes, it’s premature.

I don’t usually go accusing people of anti-O’s bias, but it’s interesting that Cortes was a B-/C+ on the Yankees list and became a straight C+ when moved to the Orioles list.

That's because the Orioles haven't done anything to help him develop since they have acquired him.

I’ve never really noticed Sickels being biased against the Orioles, but I think he has underrated our current crop.

Yeah, I don’t know if it’s bias, but he definitely lowered Cortes when moving him to the O’s list from the Yankees list.

Reminds me of where Stewart was at the beginning of 2017.

Giving Jason Martin (Pirates list) a higher grade than Mullins, Stewart, and Santander is silly as well.

I watched some Jason Martin video when I was putting together my rule 5 preference list and he’s a COF who isn’t particularly good defensively, with a hole in his swing. Yeah, the stats are nice but watch the player.

Especially over Mullins who has a high floor and can play an above average CF.

Sickels doesn't watch the player.

I know he doesn’t personally watch the players (except a few milb teams) but I was under the impression he talked to people who watched the players.

I'm sure he does talk to folks.

But he isn't eyes on at the games.  That causes me to rate his evaluations a bit differently since his information isn't first hand.

I do hope he has fully recovered from his head trauma.
