Harvey Scratched?

I do not want to unnecessarily cause any alarm, but Harvey - who was scheduled to start today - is no longer listed as the starter for Bowie.  They already said he might only throw two innings this start so I can’t imagine why he would skip another start...Anybody have any insight??  Because he was just optioned it won’t be because he’s getting called up.

If this is true, it is an unbelievably poor decision.

Harvey has pitched 30 inning in over three years and have never pitched above Delmarva.  He should be pitching a regular schedule.  He is the last guy that should be going back and forth between Bowie and the Orioles as insurance in case a long man is needed.

That makes sense.  They had said he would only throw a couple of innings, I suppose I assumed it was as a starter.  We all know about assuming...

We listened to Adam Pohl from our home down the street. Very exciting. We left in the ninth. I don't know if Corban's foot stayed on or not. But that is the magic of non-replay baseball. It did! I think it is on MiLBTV.
