O's Nation

Boo to Oriole Nation.

The Flock has the obvious tie-in with birds, but I somehow just can't see it ever really catching on. Not sure why.

It might be the way the syllables work. Some words just work better because of how they roll off the tongue.

My theory is that 2 syllables works better than just one. (Like "Elvis" and "Beatles".) I think that's one thing about "X Nation" that works well.

I fully admit that this is just a cockamamie theory. I certainly can't prove it.

However, given that I do have this cockamamie theory, I want a 2-syllable word.

The best choice I can think of at the moment is "Oriole Heaven". Heaven trumps Nation.

Orioles Haven!

Instead of a shirt that says "True Believer," I'd be more partial to a shirt that simply says "I Believe In Magic." Or something to that effect.

By the way, I'm a strange person and I should not in any way be used to represent the ideas of the group at large.

I like that. Keep the Trembley stuff, change the other part. In, in, in.

Yeah, because when we don't want to do something overdone, we should go with a 40-year-old song that has been used for national advertisments and other teams for 39 years :laughlol:

I like those shirt designs, with "True Believer" on the front and the quote on the back.

Or maybe do the opposite, with "True Believer" on the top of the back and "08" as a number (and successive years for later printings).

*sniffles* I hate you so hard right now. *sighs* :gallden:

I'm just not a big fan of the "True Believer" shirt. I'm trying to offer some constructive criticism here. And there you go just crushing me. It's unfair, BTerp. I'm trying my hardest here.

*sniffles*

I want a Flat Breezy shirt.

I suck with photoshop, but my ideal shirt would be orange with a small black outline of Sherrill's head/hat on the front where the breast pocket usually is and then on the back it says: Flat. (solid black line underneath) Breezy.

No offense but I always thought "The Flock" was a lame name.

I liked Orange Army back when you were debating names.

I really like The Orange Juice. It's goofy. It's got orange in it. It's got juice in it, and we all know juice is another word for respect and power on the streets. It's got The in it like The Ohio State University. Orange juice is delicious. I see no downside here.

Or Orange Juice could refer to our team that stunk even when they were "juicing" :scratchchinhmm:

I think the second one is great.

The first one can use a bit of cleanup:

1. I think it'd look better in black, with the words in orange.

2. I think the "We..." statements should be aligned together.

3. Not too big on the font used in "Baltimore Orioles." I think one of the fonts used for "Pride" or "Respect" should be used for all three. It has too much going on.

Just my opinion of course. I'd definitely buy the second one.
