Fantastic to hear this. The Boston model is the model to follow, and it sounds like Jordan is already headed down that road.

It's these sort of signings that lead to organization-wide breakouts 2-3 years later. Getting the talent into the pipeline is a huge part of the fight.

I made the mistake of looking up Jason Christian's numbers (whom, as you mentioned elsewhere, the As took nine picks after Miclat). .937 OPS in A-ball. Ouch. Miclat just seems like such a strange pick.

I think if we can sign Bundy and/or Brady, it will take the bad taste left over from the Hermann fiasco out of Jordan's mouth. What a wasted pick...sounds like Jordan handled it right.

Do we have a respectable offer on the table for these guys to consider?

Have we not exchanged $ amounts with the families, but instead are scouting them with the intention of making an offer?

"Second/Third" round $ is a pretty big gap - perhaps between $400K-$900k.

Very interesting to me at least. Sounds like we could be putting out an additional $500k-$2M to sign these kids in total. I would be very pleased with that.
