I love me some Steve Pearce, but how can you guys root for the Red Sox ???

Yeah, if Brooks Robinson, Eddie Murray, and Jim Palmer were wearing Red Sox uniforms, I would root against them if they were representing that franchise in the World Series.

Laundry comes first with me, even with Orioles legends ........ so I'm certainly not going to root for the Red Sox in the World Series because of Steve Pearce. I would just as soon have that once loveable Oriole gamer strike out in a crucial situation, and watch his team lose the game (and eventually the series itself.)

You can't tell me that  Manny proving to be the dirtiest player in baseball this post-season isn't going to cost him millions. So glad that POS isn't an Oriole anymore.

Manny has done some embarrassing things in the playoffs, but I don’t think he intentionally spiked Steve Pearce.

Apparently Manny did not learn his lesson after MLB fined him $10,000 for running into Brewers first baseman Aquilar in the NLCS.

He will still make plenty of money.  He will also remain ringless, while his buddy Pearce will get a ring, a parade, and hero treatment by his beloved Red Sox and their fans for the rest of his life.

Im sorry but theres plenty of reason and evidence to show that he did indeed purposely try to step on Pierce. Manny deserves zero benefit of doubt.

No way someone who's been playing baseball his entire life does that twice in a week's time on accident. Time to open our eyes on Manny. He's not defendable anymore. That was no accident. Notice how his foot turns to make sure he gets Pearce.
