Interested in how Tate can be rated over Hays.

Unless it is draft status.

Yeah, makes no sense.

At end of day Hays will get his chance at some point this year. Just hope he produces.

Encarnacion is this raw talent.  Meanwhile Kremer strikes out more batters than anyone in the minors.

Ortiz should sinks out of the top 10 on his weight alone.

The list didn’t impress me.

Then again there are a million of these out there.

Are you biased against overweight people?    Bartolo Colon was always heavy but he had one of the longest careers of any recent player.   And by the away, I agree Ortiz needs to work on his conditioning, but you don’t get ranked based on your weight, you get ranked based on performance, skills and potential.

I rank on what I saw.  He couldn'r get off the mound fast enough to cover first base.

You know how they used to say the Prince Fielder looked like he was wearing a fat suit.  Well so did Oritz.

Maybe they could bring back the bullpen cart and he could park it behind the mound?

It's a list folks. Everyone has them nowadays. There is also a lot of regurgitated reporting that goes into a lot of these lists. Let's just say we have a different view on how to do these lists and our top ten is much different than this one. 4 of those players did not even make our top 10.

Saying that, it's more about the write ups than the numbers. I'm not knocking any list, but I I'm happy as usual to have our list stand up to anyone's on thoroughness of analysis and the amount of opinions taken into consideration.

The list is what brought me to OH, back when Erikkkk Bedard was on it.    We can all debate how to rank these guys, but as a starting point for information, there’s nothing as good as the OH list and write ups!

So....where is it!  ?

I'm surprised that Mountcastle is hanging despite not having a defensive position that would make him valuable.

Not that he is on the same level but Vlad Jr is more of a DH than a third baseman right now.

I suspect Mountcastle is more like Markakis without the defense.

I think he'll show more power than Markakis but like I said, not on the same level as Vlad Jr.

Than again being a top prospect for the Orioles isn't on the same level as being a top prospect in MLB.
