The thing to watch is if this becomes a simple strain to something "lingering", which is often does when it comes to Davis, whether we believe him or not.

After reaping the benefits of the Belle policy do you think there is any chance that Angelos would agree to the Davis deal if he couldn't have received at least partial insurance on it?

Depends if he wants to spend 50% of the expected $$$$ of the total contract in an insurance rider, that he is not guarantee to receive.

Another OH Poster mentioned a while back that insurance polices were pretty much non-existence these days in MLB.

But I don't think Angelos agrees to that contract without at least some protection.

If anyone was listening to 105.7 a few minutes ago, they were talking with Ed Norris and he talked about how Brandon Hyde mentioned to him that he sees Eric Young Jr. walking by his office at 6:30 am, while Davis isn't in until 8:30 and is one of the first to leave.

Didnt they say Davis was first in the batting cage daily and taking extra hitting BP?
