I am following this story as well. Watching the pirates game. They are not saying much. Ohlendorf (and hopefully a whole lot more) are coming back.

The Pirates will receive a package of four minor-league players, expected to be Class AAA right-hander Ross Ohlendorf, Class AA right-handers Phil Coke and George Kontos and Class AA outfielder Jose Tabata.

Tabata's prospect status has taken a hit this year but he has a ton of potential and is still just 19 years old.

Kontos has some good peripherals...Coke is 26 in AA.

Tabata is obviously the prize.

Here's the blurb from RotoWorld.

The Pirates will get Jose Tabata, Ross Ohlendorf and two other prospects from the Yankees for Xavier Nady and Damaso Marte, SI.com's Jon Heyman reports.

Pittsburgh came down off its initial price tag an awful long way then. Tabata still has very exciting potential and is incredibly young, but his wrist problem are scary and he's looking like a headcase. Ohlendorf has never been a good bet to develop into anything more than a sixth- and seventh-inning guy. Pitcher Phil Coke is also believed to be in the deal, and he's a true long shot to help.

I'd say it definitely raises Sherrill's value. Thins the herd.

Sherrill's value keeps going down with every deal. Even though the pitching is thinning, the teams aren't getting the value they should...

Yeah, what a horrendous deal without knowing the two prospects they're getting back. They got a great OF prospect for what little investment they made in Nady.
