where is the plays out his contract option? I actually think they will just bury him on the bench and drag him all the way through the terms of the deal.

I do think there may come a time when management decides it's a beneficial decision to cut bait and eat bills with regard to Davis.  Just not for another 2-3 years at the least, is my guess.

Only an experienced on-the-field hand can intuit how to integrate it into an overall picture and series of tips. Personally speakng, I've always found it almost impossible to be patient and focused enough to chart how well the chaw comes out of a player's mouth, time to the ground, and chew and release times, and then line them up with swing mechanics.

Bravo, Riggodril44, you should send this to the team and ask for a front-row box slightly off to the third-base side to deepen your study.

My calculations he is owed 107.7 million.  23 * 3 for the salaries for 3 seasons after this is 69 million.  For the first 4 seasons 7 million is deferred that is 28 million.  He has a played a 1/3 rd of the season which he is due 16 million that leaves 10.7 million.
