Topped out at 92.7 tonight.   Threw all four of his pitches for at least 57.8% strikes.    Threw his change up 37 times.    And Hyde said what I said: “He pitched.”

Dempsey just said that Bundy “still has 97” but just needs to throw long toss more to get back to it.   

Rob Long compared Bundy’s approach these days to Frank Tanana’s later in his career and Dempsey said “yeah, but Tanana was seriously hurt.”    Uh, earth to Rick.....

Some of the things that come out of his mouth just blow my mind.

Thanks that is what I suspected. When Bundy has been good the past few years, I always got the feeling it was due to his skill as a pitcher. And not his arm just over matching the opposing hitters.  

His A+ arm is never coming back and it's a shame. Had the ability to be this generation's Tom Seaver if the injuries never happened.

Yeah, I haven’t seen much this year but got a chance to watch tonight and really enjoyed the job he did just pitching. It’s a real shame he’s not at ~96 like he used to be.

Dempsey says some of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard from a sports commentator. That’s says a lot.

Speaking of things I’m typing, the future of the bun, the Bund-Adumbrative — if he can recapture the Lyles-esque 92.2 heat; recall, not all Cy’s are good at pitching before age 28 and a half.

I was very encouraged with what I saw from Bundy today especially inducing the ground ball. Without looking at his previous stats I don’t think that’s been a strength of his.
