Wouldn't that bar him from the active  roster for 10 days? I can't see doing that after the three shutout innings he threw. He could swing into an opener slot. I'm afraid it will take Stralley too long to straighten out to really help in what is quickly becoming a crisis.

Yes but he can’t pitch today or tomorrow, and we’re going to need fresh arms. Send him down and call someone else up. Try to limit guys to 15 pitches or so so they can go consecutive days. For now it’s the only way. We have only three starters, none of them is reliable and none who can promise 7 innings. And we have some awful relievers.
