Couple questions could we package all three? Roberts, Bradford, and Sherrill? Also who plays 2B if Roberts leaves? Kemp, McDoanld, LaRoche, and DeJesus for all three? man would that be freaking unreal! I would do Kemp, LaRoche, and DeJesus for Roberts and Sherrill. McDonald would just be icing on the cake and lots of icing with the way he is throwing the ball. Or maybe even DeWitt coming back to play 2B. i would be willing to take on a bad contract if it ment that deal. Who would they want to unload? Any vet pitchers? Then move Bradford for a 2B and things are really looking up around here!

You can't just add a bunch of mediocre relievers together and get one of the top young OF in baseball.

MEDIOCRE RELIEVERS?!

Chad Bradford is so badazz that Will Carroll wrote an article on how special he is:

Walker is LEFT handed and is a very nice person!

Cormier has a sophisticated sounding French last name, a reasonably low ERA, and a winning smile.

These are orange blooded Orioles who we go to war with day in and day out. A little respect for them please.

Bradford is a very good reliever.

Walker is a left-handed specialist with an ERA close to 5.

Cormier is a border-line ML long reliever.

Even if they were good, you can't trade relievers for a guy like Kemp.

This has to be a joke? Walker is a lefty and nice person? Well lets see if we can trade Tex for him straight up!!!! Cormier's last name contributes to his trade value? Wowzerz!!!!!

Bradford is a GB pitcher, nothing too great.

How sure are you that Kemp is more valuable than Varitek and Lowe at their peak were combined?

How any national league team could be interested in Manny is beyond me. Have they not scouted him? He is probably the worst defensive outfielder in the majors right now, he's 36, and he is unhappy with his contract. He sort of half gets by playing little league left field in Fenway, and every time he F's up or complains the Sox fans laugh it off as "Manny being Manny." Manny is ten times worse in the field than Aubrey Huff, and all the teams in the NL seem to think Huff is a DH. If I were in the pennant race right now I would not trade Aubrey Huff straight up for Manny.

He's also one of the 5 best hitters in the last 30 years too....

I'd take Manny on my team every day of the week and twice on Sunday...no questions asked.

They got traded for a player named Heathcliff Slocumb, who was a reliever.

You gave me a link to "top 10 worst deadline deals ever."

Deals like that are the exception not the rule. And at that point, Slocumb had more value than any of our relievers.

Maybe I missed something, but what would the Dodgers do with Kent?

Moved to utility player or they could trade him i guess. I know the Rays had interest. This is the kind of move that could really put this team back on the map. I would really be a happy man if we could pull this off.
