Do the A's get a sandwich pick for Murray. They didn't fail to sign him, but he won't be playing for them.

I wouldn't think so.  And I'm not sure why it would be different than if a player signed a deal then died (god forbid) before ever playing for the team.  Just something I was wondering about.

I have to admit, I hadn’t followed how he’d done in the NFL at all.    He had a pretty decent season, and seems poised to have a long NFL career.    I don’t know why he’d want to screw around with that.
