DJ Stewart went 3 for 3 with 3 runs scored in Norfolk’s win over Altoona.  He had a double, 2 homeruns, 7 RBI and 1 walk as well.   He is the Orioles Hangout MiLB Player of the Day.

  

NORFOLK TIDES (15-17) WON 9-4 TO PAWTUCKET – AAA

·        Anthony Santander went 2 for 5 with 2 runs scored, 1 double, 1 homerun, 1 RBI and 1 strikeout.

·        Chris Lee gave up 1 run on 4 hits with no walks and 1 strikeout over 3.0 innings of relief.

  

BOWIE BAYSOX (9-24) WON 12-2 AT ALTOONA – AA

·        Mason McCoy went 4 for 5 with 2 runs scored, 1 homerun, 2 RBI, 1 walk and 1 strikeout.

·        Alex Wells gave up 2 runs on 6 hits with 4 walks and 2 strikeouts over 5.0 innings pitched.

 

 FREDERICK KEYS (14-17) LOST 5-4 IN 10 INNINGS TO POTOMAC – A (ADV.)

·        Willy Yahn went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored, 1 double, 1 walk 1 strikeout and was caught stealing.

·        Michael Baumann gave up 2 runs on 5 hits with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts over 5.0 innings pitched.

  

DELMARVA SHOREBIRDS (24-5) LOST 9-0 TO GREENSBORO – A (LOW)

·        JC Encarnacion went 3 for 3 with 1 walk.

·        Hector Guance gave up 2 runs on 3 hits with 3 walks, 6 strikeouts and 1 wild pitch over 4.1 innings pitched.
