There are certainly some guys I might have DFA'd before Ramirez. Lucas is one. Ortiz for sure, that guy seems 100% toast. 

In the big picture it doesn't really matter because the idea is a guy like Yefry would be DFAd eventually for a better player. It's just roster churn. But I'd love to know if the data says something about Yefry.

My guess is Yefry isn't claimed and is just assigned to AAA when he clears.

On a personal note, my kids met him at fanfest and he seemed like a really great guy. I, for one, hope he goes to AAA and figures out how to provide ML value.

And he was tried and failed, but he's also still kinda young (24), so maybe they can rebuild his swing a bit to give him a chance in the future. I'm very happy that he's demoted for that reason.

Mullins is figuring himself out in AAA. Broxton is a non-issue and not blocking him or anyone else.
