Cut it with a fork, could have used a spoon.

No.  He isn't in the game until he is announced (reported as a substitute to the umpire.)

Mine's doing very well too. Veg isn't mush. Hocks are getting there. Getting done, not mush... No real taste to the broth but that comes later.
