No. I have about an hour to simmer yet. And then the unsoaked beans. Carrots were complete mush last time.

Either way, they might be getting in even later tonight prior to the 1:05 game tomorrow.

The Tigers game in New York ended two hours ago.   They'll probably be having dinner in Little Italy in another hour or two.

The Yankees were losing by a score of 7-1 heading into the 9th inning. They scored 6 runs in the top of the 9th to tie the game ........ and then they lost it an inning later, when Billy Hamilton walked, stole 2nd base, and scored on an RBI-single.

 

I can't believe that speedy Billy Hamilton is still playing at 153 years-old. Since he made his comeback 6 years ago, he has surpassed 1,000 career stolen bases.
