They instructed Dan to to accept less talent in return for dumping salary.

They spent very little on International players.

The team didn't even spend 1M on any additions to the ML team.

Every data point we have points to it.

Would you like to show me evidence supporting the idea that they want to spend heavily on the draft?

I believe that the Orioles will not spend money on the MLB product until time to compete. I believe they will spend all their draft money and all their J2 money.

Where is your evidence that ownership instructed Dan to accept less talent in exchange for dumping salary?    Seems to me that’s pure supposition on your part.   But if you’ve seen a report to that effect, let’s see it.

There is none. A good GM dumps all salaries that he can in a rebuild.

They both will be. Watson too. Then probably Daschbach and Hammer. Maybe Roth.

That would be pretty great. Daschbach has some nice numbers. I like the amount of hitters we took this year. Elias’ first draft. Hitters are usually “safer” picks. Sign a bunch of guys, and build depth.

It would be nice if we could sign everyone minus the HS kids at the botttom, and then be able to offer one of them 250-300k.
