A stinker! I gotta admit, I didn't last long in this one, so I'm going largely by box score. If you saw something good let me know!

  • Gabriel Ynoa: The list of silver linings probably isn't going to be very long from this, so Ynoa's 5IP 3 ER (no walks!) will have to do. Look, he's been better than Straily was in the rotation, that's for sure. Since entering the rotation, he's got a 4.50 ERA which is basically EXACTLY what you expect to get out of him. I'll take that.

  • Chance Sisco: Hey here's a good one. Sisco cranked a 95mph fastball into the RF seats for a solo home run. He's an XBH machine! Nice to see it on a good heater, too. The swing is pretty.

  • Renato Nunez: A 2-4 night including a double, which is nice for him as it's his first multi-hit game since June 1.

  • ?Anthony Santander: But it Sahn-Tahn-DARE that was the star of this one. A 3-hit night - all singles - but he drove in 2.

  • Trey Mancini: Stolen base! (#1)

That's it, folks. Sometimes it be like that. Happy Friday!

I like what I’m seeing from Ynoa.   The guy battles and knows how to pitch.    His stuff isn’t overwhelming but I like how he competes.

I like Ynoa too. He goes out there and gives them a chance.

But the bullpen is just awful and I don't know how they can fix it this year.

Chris Davis raised his average to just below "the Davis Line" (.168) and only K's once.  He's not an albatross yet!  (See avatar)

Beat the shift too (even if it was accidental)

Tried a second time but VG2 made an "acrobatic" catch at the screen.  ⚾
