4.12 ERA/5.11 FIP in 122 IP just last season.

Fastball still hits 94.

Pretty weird that he's THIS bad in both actual result AND peripherals.

The end can come at you fast in this game.

Aren’t going to make a move a day game after a night game in the West coast.

Right. They'll announce the moves tonight or tomorrow before the game. Straily will be DFA.

Or put on the IL with a pretend injury like Toronto did with Edwin Jackson.

I would cut him and try the following in his place:  Eshelman, Akin, Zimmerman or Harvey.  Probably in that order.

Not me.  I am not rushing Akin or Zimmerman right now and certainly not Harvey.    Maybe Eshelman.

If we keep Straily he can set the single season home run allowed record and that will draw attention away from Davis. This will in turn allow the O's to capitalize on maintaining their investment in Davis by giving Davis time to continue his acting career.  Currently he is practicing arguing balls and strikes with umpires on balls thrown 50-70 mph straight down the middle.

Davis might need a CT scan of his brain. Either that or he has gone totally mental. But it's weird seeing him argue over pitches that are obvious strikes.

If I was to say what I'm thinking, Lowther would be at the top of my list, but i won't.

I see it as there are guys with lots of potential, guys with minimal potential, so why not bring up some of the guys with minimal potential, especially the older guys who are just about reached the end of their rope, and give them a try. If they’re terrible, well they’re not any worse and the guys we’ve been throwing out there anyway, and if they’re good, they are a happy surprise, however temporarily. And either way, they would love the opportunity, even if it’s the only one they ever have.

I have no idea who would fit in that category, but There should be at least a couple??
