The Silver Lining Report: Games 72 & 73 (O's lose 3-2; 16-2)

Game 72

• Andrew Cashner: Pretty nice (quality) start here. 6IP, 1ER, 0HR. ALAS. 
• Jimmy Yacabonis: The Yac is back and he threw a decent outing of 2IP, 0 ER. A quick glance at his ERA (5.40) makes it seem pretty darn in this dark time.
• Look, the O's got 3 hits: So there's not a lot here. Alberto drove in a run on a bunt (cool!), Santander had a nice catch, aaanndd yeah let's just move on.

Game 73

• Gabriel Ynoa: The silver lining? He gave 'em 5 innings.
• Dan Straily: LOL. Good lord my dude. I give him props for just going out there, getting the absolute stuffing beat out of him, but finishing the last 2 and a third innings of the game. I hope he finds it again, because that's going to be his final Orioles game.
• Jonathan Villar: Home run! His 8th.
• Keon Broxton: Got a hit and scored on an error!
• Again, let's just move on shall we?

Ha, thanks. Unfortunately the last two games were maybe the most bone-dry games they've played all year in terms of finding silver linings. My goodness...
