Brooks wearing #38.   The only 38 that immediately came to mind for me was Brother Low.   So I looked it up.   He is the 2nd 38 this year for the Orioles -- Pedro Araujo wore it.   Others of note:  Wade Miley, Robin Roberts.   It has mostly been a short-timer # for Orioles:  Roberts (4 seasons) and Lowenstein (7 seasons) are the only guys to wear it for more than 3 years.   And there's only a few 3-season guys:   Chris Richard, Ken Gearhart, Jesse Jefferson, and Jerry Walker.   Otherwise, everyone who's ever worn the # wore it for 1 or 2 years at most.
