What happened?  He and Straily both seem to have fallen off a cliff.  Were they injured?

Link explains it. Threw 98 mph before TJ surgery and now throwing 92 mph.

I saw that.  His TJ surgery was a long time ago though and he went from a sub 5 ERA to an infinity ERA in a year after a few years of not being that bad.

You do that Mets stadium is very very pitcher friendly and ball is juiced this year.  He had a 6.70 ERA with Mets in 2017 and that is actually worse than his performance this year.
