Curious to see what his EV will be this year. The added strength alone should help that particular stat, regardless of his actual boxscore stats.

His swing has always looked slow to me. Even in his good years. It probably is slow. But his average EV could still go up on the balls he does manage to make contact with.

That's a good sign. 

You might be able to go back over some games last year and find a stretch like that, but it'd be hard.  139 strikeouts in 352 plate appearances, so he struck out 39% of the time if I'm doing the math right.  

That means a 20 PA stretch where he struck out twice probably didn't happen.

Exactly. A Davis K should be close to a coin flip. Something must be up if you're coming up heads 18 out of 20.
