Where are players not on 60 man playing?

I was looking for news where players who are not on the 60 man are playing.  No doubt some of them will just give up their baseball careers, but I would think some would join independent leagues or even go overseas.

They are still being paid $400 a week by their teams. They aren't playing anywhere.

Some have done exactly that.

This is actually not quite true for all of them.  Orioles minor leaguer Willy Yahn is playing in a competitive twilight league in the Hartford area.  The son of a colleague also plays on the same team.

I would imagine Willy is not the only low minor leaguer who has sought out these leagues that are largely fostering college baseball players.

It will be interesting what happens to all the pitchers they will get basically no inning this season so does that mean they will be on an innings limit next season like an injured pitcher coming back from not pitching a year.

I'm hopeful that these kids are throwing even if they aren't competitive innings.
