Nats get 4 in the top of the 10th, although they almost had 0.  Got the bases loaded with no one out, then struck out twice.  Slow grounder to the 2Bman who tried to dive for 2B before the runner from first got there.  He didn't make it but in the collision he knocked the runner off the bag and had the tag on.  They called the runner safe and replay upheld it and the Nats went on to get 4 total.

Phillips has decent movement on his pitches. He is definitely in a higher tier than Hess and Lakins to me.

I mean, not convinced he is a Major Leaguer or anything. Just better than those guys.

I was coming down here to say just that. Although he did have that one great pitch, curving in on the outside edge for a strike. Great pitch.

Yeah, he's kind of high end of fringe MLers. Hopefully he gets better.
