Some swear words in it as one would guess, so careful kids, but the jomboy breakdown has a good amount of detail on the exchange.

I saw Eduardo Perez on the Sunday Night countdown show, and A-Rod in booth with favorable takes on Machado's conduct in this one.

Our Manny has grown up.  I'm impressed.

Freddy Galvis ice cold, struck out in a big spot to end 2-1 loss putting the Dombrowskis close to the edge.

A scuffling Will Smith walked Bryce to lead off top 9 defending a 2-0 lead, then yielded three hard hit balls (99/105/100) including a fielding error to bring Galvis up two out, man on 3rd.

At start of at-bat, announcers had that Galvis on an 0-for-17.

Tingler may or may not be fired today, but Gausman has needed just 23 pitches first time through the order as the Giants look to clinch while Dodgers digest tough Kershaw (impending free agent?!?!) news.

Wildcard wise, I think Buehler is Scherzer's reliever, and that's it.   Counting chickens a little early, Cardinals Devil Magic worth 200 runs of differential?

Gausman was great in Game 162 to secure our last berth 5 years back.

Ken Singleton, filling in the 4th inning of a 7-1 game, just announced tomorrow he's retiring after 37 years of broadcasting.

Michael Kay seemed genuinely surprised.

Singleton has been broadcasting for 37 years?   Man I’m old!

Jace Peterson, Milwaukee Brewers utility player--and pitcher of 3 career innings with three different teams including the Orioles--walked both times he batted in the playoffs against the Braves. He had 302 plate appearances for the Brewers during the 162. Interesting note: Jace has walked all three of his career playoff PAs.

Evan Phillips, cut by the Orioles in August, just pitched the 7th inning for the Dodgers in the critical Game 3 of the NLCS.

Scoreless inning.  1 hit and 2 Ks.

They tried to get another inning out of him, he retired the first two Braves but then walked two and is out.  Still a chance for 1.2 scoreless in the NLCS if his runners are stranded, not bad for a guy who got cut by the worst team in baseball 2 months ago.

Another fine turn just now, firing up Kershaw and Scherzer, and trying to keep the season alive.   He's taking to this October relief thing like Mike Mussina or something.

Turn of the juju picking up steam as Pollock gets Fried to halve the deficit coming off Phillips' good work?
