Alex Cobb signed with the Giants for 2/$20 mm, structured as $9 mm per season plus a $10 mm option with a $2 mm buyout.   The way things seem to go, he’ll probably be outstanding for the Giants.

I saw Eduardo Perez on the Sunday Night countdown show, and A-Rod in booth with favorable takes on Machado's conduct in this one.

I can't discern it, but someone on FB was repping Ryan Flaherty as the guy keeping them apart in the dugout.   He, Bobby Dickerson and Wayne Kirby all Padres coaches nowadays.

Really interesting video. Certainly shows that Machado has matured a bit.

Good riddance. Maybe he'll get in shape and fulfill some of his talent but good lord that guy was out of shape last year.

Jim Corsi, who had a 12 year career as a reliever that ended with a season in Baltimore in 1999, passed away at 60 due to cancer.   Like Julio Lugo, who passed away a month ago, I honestly don't remember Corsi as an Oriole at all.
