Not usually. You need lightning quick reflexes at 3rd, but you have more ground to cover AND double play feeds and turns at 2nd. Much harder position.

I dislike Scott less, because he’s improved a lot, but I’m always terrified when he comes into a game, because you never know what you’re going to get. And if he’s our closer, yikes.

Reaction vs range. Stronger arm at 3rd. 
My guess is as good as Rio has been today his range isn’t good.
