Today the Orioles go for a sweep of the Rangers, while the Yankees try to avoid a Sweep by the Rays.

Let us raise a glass to the Orioles, and then lower it for the Yankees.

Interesting tidbit is that Mancini is not playing today, instead we have the mighty Rio Ruiz at designated hitter, and the stalwart Ramon Urias At second base. Be still my heart.

John Means )will try to navigate his team to a sweep against the Eastern Texans. 

Kyle Gibson )was drafted in the 36th round out of high school, in 2006. He instead opted for college, and eventually became a 1st-round draft choice 3 years later ....... that decision resulted in a $1.85 Million signing bonus, as opposed to the food money that he likely would have gotten had he signed in the 36th round out of high school. While on the pitcher's mound for 8 Major League seasons between 2013 and 2020, Gibson has only had 2 seasons (2015 and 2018) in which his ERA wound up being under 4.00.

Leody Taveras  )has 10 career Stolen Bases, and has yet to be caught in the act ....... and on the other hand, )Eli White )has attempted to steal twice so far this season, and has been caught both times.
