Comments on the "modified" hats in the World Series

Anyone else notice that Joe Maddon, Jimmy Rollins, and other are wearing a "flap" on the back of their hats. You can flip it up and its got the MLB logo in the spot where it would be on a "normal" hat, and you can flip it down to keep your ears and neck warm.

Frankly, its weird looking at first, but I'm glad MLB is willing to bend the uniform rules a bit to keep these guys happy.

I have a lot of other beefs about how the postseason is handled, but this isn't one of them. Anyone else noticed this "flap", or care to comment?

I noticed that as well. I think it is smart. It looks really wierd but comfortable because it does cover the ears.

No Orioles one yet (and no Rays or Phillies at MLBShop yet, either).

Guess we have to wait for the new unis. I'd buy one, though.
