Surprised he doesn’t already have a thread. Henderson (rightly) getting a lot of the attention at Delmarva, but Westburg’s OPS is up to 1.119 now. One thing that stood out to me is that he doesn’t have to hurry to turn on a quality fastball. He has excellent bat speed, so he can wait longer to pull the trigger.

Still being overlooked. Still has an OPS above 1.000.  He’s crushing this season.

Don't think he's being overlooked at all.  I think he'll be promoted on Monday.

Congrats to Westburg on the well deserved promotion to High-A. Finished with a .358/.483/.582 line at Delmarva.

SSS for sure but definitely sucks that the momentum that he has built is gone.

He was sitting at a respectable .712 OPS before this 0-5.  I think he’ll be ok.

.812 OPS at the moment.  22 games since being promoted. Very little hype for our 5th/6th best prospect.

He won’t be Belanger, but he can be a Seager, Correa type - like Gunnar.  I’d be happy if we had some combination with one at SS and the other at 3rd.

Westburg already has 49 RBI this year.  I know a lot of posters hate RBIs, but guys driving in a lot of runs equals a lot of runs being scored.  Lots of runs being driven in equals a good offense.

Over 1.000 OPS so far in the month of July (not including another 2 for 5 today).   At over 150 PA in Aberdeen now............should we be expecting a promotion soon?

I think there is a chance he is promoted on July 19th.   With Ortiz and Vavra out with injuries and Dorrian probably promoted to AAA there is room for him at AA.
