Mateo should be Mullins' platoon partner in CF next year (while also still backing up 2B/SS and pinch running on his "off" days). -
This is where I'm at. Rogers could win the Cy Young 3 years in a row and I'd still be bitter about the 2024 trade. In the moment, trying to win a WS, Norby and Stowers could have returned an established and thriving pitcher at the deadline that would have went on to give us positive MLB innings during the playoff race and in the playoffs themselves; ex: Eflin I'm glad Elias is GM but that was my first real headshake moment with him -

I'm hoping he's been watching tape and talking to coaches about OF strategy while he's been rehabbing. In this line up, if everyone is healthy, I'd like to see Mateo be a 1.5- 2 WAR player if used correctly. PR, Spot starts in MIF/OF, Def Replacement. In those opportunities you hope he displays +D, .300 OBP w/ .380 SLG, and about 20 SBs. Hoping its like 250 ABs max and hoping he embraces it

There are assumptions you're making either way. LAD is betting on fiat dollars being worth less in 10 years while being able to invest it elsewhere now. People don't know how to check B-Ref for R/L splits and you're expecting them to know how to spend someone else's money within their budget? Fight the good fight, my friend! -
Edman wasn’t average during the post season. If we signed him to the exact same contract, I’d be jumping with joy today.
