Sisco DFA’ed

I didn't see that coming. I don't mind seeing Sisco go, but I don't care for the implication that Severino stays. It must be Severino's salary since it can't be his catching. And if so that's just stupid, but what's new?

Chance earned this, but nonetheless it's a big switch from where he was to DFA:

Ownership needs to recognize what a sunk cost is and Severino isn't even getting paid much by baseball standards. There are some pitchers on the roster who could still be around in a few years and having them work with Severino is a negative. 

If none of the Orioles catchers are going to be able to hit until AR gets called up, then at the very least they can be competent defensively.

I can't disagree with this take and it's the only legitimate reason on why Severino is still the starting catcher.
