Love to hear Buck Britton talk some analytics a little, get to hear from Adley and Rizer as well. Hopefully this kind of approach starts to trickle upward to the big club eventually.

As strike outs continue to increase and the ball is being put in play less, a BB is all the more valuable.  Players that have more BB than K are extremely valuable.

That is a good little video.   I’d love to see this start to translate at the big league level.   If Hays and Mountcastle had been trained with this level of emphasis, they’d be better players today.  You hear them say they are trying to do this, but it’s tougher to do it at the big league level.
