The previous pitcher reached for Gutierrez's base hit and it ripped off the top of his fingertips and on into CF.  So I guess Aroldis gets as long as he wants to warm up even though he had been warming a decent amount of time in the pen.

He's ready now. 

EDIT:. It TIPPED off the top of his fingertips!

To be 7+ post-ASB and still have a 3.7 ERA.... No mere Fry or Scott he.

You see the usher shoo the little kid in the Adam Jones jersey out of the front row behind the plate?  Geez, there's a small crowd and it's the bottom of the 9th...let the tyke watch a couple batters from great seats, who's it gonna hurt?

What I meant was that he would strike out Mountcastle only after throwing a wild pitch that moved both runners up into scoring position.

The ushers at OPACY have usually been strict in my experience about jumping up to better seats in the field box section. Late in the game with a small crowd I don't know why they just can't just be cool with it.

It's likely not their call and they're being instructed to enforce the rules with no leeway. I can understand at the beginning game not allowing it, but come on let a kid sit up close for a few minutes.

I’ve seen them shoo people away if they are in the front two rows, but not day anything, or actually bring kids down to the tunnel area during the last inning.

The ushers--or whatever policy or management makes them so rude and robotic--are one of the very few things that are a downer for me when it comes to OPACY.
