Only one game in the loss column separates the Jays, Yankees, and Red Sox, with two of these teams likely to be Wild Cards, although Seattle and Oakland are far from being out of the picture. So these games really mean something. Would love to see the O's sink either the Sox or Y's--we have a somewhat better chance of doing the latter since we're already 7-10 vs. them (4-9 vs. Boston; 5-11 vs. Canada).

Let's go, O's!

in the process, barring injury and the type of slump he's avoided all season, Mullins will reach 30/30, Mountcastle will get his rookie record-breaking homer, Hays and Santander have a good chance of hitting 20 homers each (need 2 and 3 more respectively), and John Means has a very slim opportunity to get his ERA back under 3.00.

Best catch by an Oriole I’ve seen this year.

I agree: The precise timing, the height of the leap. and the SUPER-TWIST! Even Sanchez, not the most gracious player around, was so amazed he just said, "Wow...."

After Urias, the bottom part of the lineup is awful.

Not that BA is the end all be all.  But of the 4 batters after Urias, 3 have a BA under .200, and the one that is above is BA .205.

Oh and look, the umpire just robbed Means of a strike out.  This guy is bad at his job.

Miss having a bopper at third base, but neither Franco nor Nunez cd even begin to field nearly as well as Gutierrez (except that Franco suddenly got pretty good at coming in and one-handing rollers).
