Trey has no business trying to take an extra base, ESPECIALLY when he’s hesitated and already lost a step.

Mancini got thrown out just in time for Sawamura to right himself and K two batters. Goes without saying that one-run lead in the 7th in Fenway with the O's bullpen is nothing. In fact, Mancini not being on base may be one reason why Sawamura improved: Pitching approach to Hays and Severino wd have been different with him in scoring position.
