I don't recall the sabermetric mark of a hitter where bunts are preferred.  But I do know after that 1st bunt attempt, no way I'm letting him try a second attempt.

 I hear ya, but he's also hitting less than he weighs so...I dunno, it's a toss up.  Jones can't really do anything right at the plate at the moment, I think we can all agree on that, though.
