I wanted to read up on Fergie Jenkins, and found this.

THIS guy is a Writer. I am usually down on the guys who cover the Orioles because frankly they’re neither very good writers nor very insightful. It takes a real artistic talent to be able to share facts, and opinion, and do so beautifully; To write in such a way that the writing itself is appealing more than the information that is being shared. Joe and I disagree on a lot of things that are taking place in society today, and neither of us is losing any sleep about that fact. But I read him with great pleasure because he’s such a good writer, and when I disagree with him( which is always when it comes to politics, which he constantly shares) I still appreciate how he is expressing his disagreeable opinions.

I shared an interview with Eric Nadel In hopes our own broadcast crew would listen and learn, and they did not. I share this hoping that the guys who write for the Orioles will read and learn.

But I also share because it is brilliant and because I think everybody reads it and will enjoy it.

He's the best sportswriter out there, IMO. 

Of course @Can_of_cornhasn't heard of him because CoC doesn't pay attention to good things.  Look at his music taste, for example.
