This is a good move by the Braves. They get a good starter who is an innings eater to help that Atlanta rotation.

It seems like they got vasquez relatively cheaply. I would've liked to see him come to Baltimore..someone who can really eat some innings and consistantly get us into the 6-7th inning. Good move by the Braves.

Well, there was absolutely no way that the O's would have given up a prospect as good as Flowers to get Vasquez. He's not Wieters defensively, but he could be very close offensively.

I am not sure how cheap it was. What 4 players who be of equal value in the O's system? I doubt the O's would have wanted to deplete the minors like that.

That's good advice - though it's got nothing to do with what I said.

Flowers was the best hitter in the AZ fall league. He's a 22 year old catcher with tremendous power. I doubt Atlanta would have even considered trading him for Vasquez if they didn't have McCann.

This actually might be a good deal for the WS. They get an awesome prospect in Tyler Flowers.
