Showalter leading candidate for Mets job

Would be interesting 3 years out of the game at least from an everyday role.

I’d prefer Buck over Ausmus, and don’t know enough about Quatraro to have an opinion.

Even with being a NY team, I'd root for the Mets if they have Buck and Max. I want Buck to get a ring.

Me too.  And I was 12 years old in 1969 and LOATHE the Mets to this day for what happened that year.

And it’s now official Buck Showalter is the new manager of the New York Mets.

Don't think this was a smart move for the Mets.  I know some lived him,  but for me Buck was average at best.
