Was surprised by this, in a good way.  More of the "fishing analogy" approach, I guess.  Gotta restock the pond.

Just caught up on the Elias presser about the wall, and noticed the MASN Orioles YouTube channel is advertising for 145pm a live stream about today.

Live stream just finished...Paul Mancano had Koby Perez on for about 10 minutes, and the individuals out of the 24 reviewed were Tavera, Arias and Prieto, the three you would guess.

Koby shared the detail that Elias, Hyde and Eve Rosenbaum were all part of the Prieto scouting/recruitment once he became FA in November, and the Orioles classic opportunity card was part of what they wooed him with.

Prieto and Norby are about as linked profiles in my mind entering the year as Henderson and Westburg.

Just found Edwin Amparo’s Instagram account as well as a couple of produced youtube videos. 

It seems his makeup is solid but his defensive skillset is pretty raw. I’m terrible at evaluating swings (no matter how much weams tried to teach me). 

In some of the videos, he seems to consistently take 4 or 5 steps after retrieving the ball (SS) before throwing to first, and his arm is not accurate.

I can post the link for the youtube video from 2019 but his more recent highlight videos from IG might not be available to all; I’m posting just in case.
