Britton just seems like a very good baseball mind and people manager.   I’m in no hurry to move on from Hyde, but if that day comes, Britton would be a great candidate to manage the O’s.   I’m looking forward to seeing how he adjusts to managing the Tides, which undoubtedly will seem like standing next to a revolving door and passing on advice to people on their way in and out.  

Meanwhile, the prospect of seeing Rutschman and Rodriguez debut in the same season just gets more and more mouth-watering each day.   We’ve had seasons where one highly anticipated stud came to the majors before, but never a 1-2 punch as strong as this one.   It almost feels like everything else that happens this year will just be a footnote.
