LHP Carson Whisenhunt out for season

Widely considered the top college arm in the draft and sure fire first rounder, ECU pitcher Carson Whisenhunt is out for the year after testing positive for a banned substance.  No doubt, his draft stock will plummet.   

 

Would you consider spending a competitive balance pick or 2nd round pick?   I guess the question is how much of his prior success may have been due to using performance enhancing stuff?

Would need to know more about the "banned substance" and the circumstances of his usage before determining when the risk fits the potential reward in drafting him.

Wow....Now I believe this might be the worst year for college pitching ever....   they are dropping like flies!

Good thing the Orioles don't start drafting pitchers until the 11th round/
